General Rules:
1. Tournament will start at 10 pm. Signups start at 9 pm, either in person or by calling Nesbits Lanes to reserve your spot. Beginning at 9 pm, you can call Nesbit's Lanes at 412-793-5556 and ask for the tournament director. Spots will be issued on a first come first serve basis. Due to lane availability, the maximum entries each week will be 32 bowlers.
2. Cost: $25 a night ($6 lineage / $14 weekly prize fund / $5 end of year prize fund)
3. There will be an optional strike pot available each night for $2. You must get all 8 strikes to win. Here are the strike pot frames:
Game 1 frames 1,4,6 & 9
Game 2 frames 2,5,7 & first ball in the 10th
4. Pots will also be available for $3; they will be paid for the 2 games and totals for qualifying.
5. All employees of Nesbits Lanes, including tournament staff has permission to bowl.
6. Tournaments are not sanctioned, but all USBC rules apply.
7. Format All bowlers will bowl 2 games of qualifying to determine their seed in the bracket round. Based on 32 bowlers after qualifying, byes will be given with seeds 17-32 bowling a one game head to head match. Winners will then bowl seeds 9-16. Winners of those matches will go on to bowl seeds 1-8. Further rounds will all be head to head until a winner is crowned.
· With less than 32 bowlers, byes will be given as needed in the first round of match play to get to a bracket of 16 bowlers.
8. Point system -
1 point for participation
1 point for leading qualifying
1 point for each match you win including byes
1 bonus point for 3rd and 4th place finishes
3 bonus points for a 2nd place finish
5 bonus points for winning the tournament
9. Payouts 1 in 4 will cash. The following are some example payouts.

· High losing score will be used to determine the position of cashers.
10. In case of a breakdown, center management will make the best decision possible to accommodate the tournament bowlers.
11. The top 32 bowlers in the year to date points will make the finals. The format for the finals will be match play only (no qualifying) with the top 8 in year to date points receiving 2 byes and 9-16 in year to date points each receiving 1 bye. Byes will be given in place of any missing bowlers during the finals.
12. Eight bowlers will cash in the year end tournament with an estimated $500 being paid to first place. All payout amounts will be determined by entries throughout the year.
